Senior Sleep Consultant, BSW, RSW
I’m a registered social worker with over nine years of experience supporting families and young children in a wide range of settings. Much of my career has been spent working in northern Canada in Whitehorse, Yukon and remote communities, including above the Arctic Circle, where I supported families welcoming new babies and children, often within Indigenous communities. These experiences deeply shaped my practice and reinforced my belief in culturally respectful, family-centred care.
My son and I moved to Alberta in 2023 and I currently support families as a sleep consultant across Alberta, Ontario, and British Columbia full-time with Baby’s Best Sleep, where I combine my clinical background, trauma-informed approach, and real-life parenting experience to support families in a compassionate and practical way.
As a parent to a five-year-old, I understand how challenging (and emotional) sleep struggles can be, and I’m passionate about helping families find rest in ways that feel supportive, realistic, and aligned with their values. Mental health has always been at the core of my work. I spent two years as a mental health emergency social worker at the Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, supporting families during some of their most vulnerable moments. Through this work, I saw firsthand how foundational sleep is to both child and caregiver mental health.
